I. Payment methods

JouJou offers the following payment methods for the selected goods:

  • Cash or bank card upon receipt of order (payment by credit card upon receipt of order is only available in Chisinau!);
  • By credit card at checkout (including Liber and Gama Card);
  • Payment on site – Paypal;
  • Pay in cash or by card at the time of collection.

II. Delivery

It’s important to us that you receive your order conveniently, so we have several delivery options. Details about each of them you’ll find below.

Courier delivery

  • We can deliver your jewelry by courier.
  • Delivery time in Chisinau is 24 hours.
  • Delivery time in Moldova is between 2 and 3 working days.

If the order is placed on weekends, public holidays or after 17:00, the order is processed the next working day.

Delivery in Chisinau and throughout Moldova is FREE.

Fast delivery

In cases where you need an urgent delivery within 2-3 hours in Chisinau, you can contact our online consultants with your order number, and 50 lei extra will be added to the value of your order.

Picking up in store

You can take your order and, at the same time, you can try on all the jewelry you want in our showroom on Calea Ieșilor 8, ZityMall.

Worldwide delivery

  • If you choose international delivery, 100% prepayment is required.
  • Your country’s customs duty is not included in the total cost of your order.
  • Please check with your country’s customs department for shipping limits.
  • Worldwide deliveries are calculated individually.

III. Guarantee

Production defects.

Jewelry bought in stores or on the JouJou website is covered by a 30-day guarantee if the jewelry has a manufacturing defect.

What counts as a production defect?

  • molding defects
  • attachment defects, traces of glue or other means are visible on the jewelry
  • the stone is not properly secured, it wobbles or falls.
  • enamel defects; the enamel is swollen and loose.
  • discrepancies or missing markings for silver or gold.
  • stains on inlays (stones or pearls)
  • jewelry asymmetry (unless it was the designer’s idea)
  • defects in the plating: it wears too quickly or gets stains

Production defects do not occur very often. Before a piece of jewelry is delivered to its owner, it is inspected by our team. We check the quality of all jewelry that is presented to us, but it can happen that we miss something.

If the jewelry is damaged during the warranty period and a manufacturing defect is detected, we assume the following obligations:

  • to exchange the jewelry for a new one;
  • if the jewelry is no longer available, we will send a certificate of the same value.

Scratches and/or removal of the gold coating from the surface of the product do not constitute damage or a manufacturing defect. Blackening of the surface on which the jewelry is worn, for example on the finger, is not considered a manufacturing defect, but is the result of frequent wearing of jewelry and the use of chemical elements, such as creams or medicines, which may affect and/or interact with the alloy components of the jewelry.

Coverage

Removal of plating is not a defect, but rather a natural wear of the jewelry and a sign that you love it and wear it often. All jewelry MYA BAY, HERMINA ATHENS, Crystal Haze, Luv Aj, Shyla, Villy Milioni and ANA POPOVA are covered by a 1 year warranty. MAYOL jewelry is covered by a 6 months warranty. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage or natural wear and tear of the jewelry, due to the fact that it is loved and worn frequently.

What is not included in the warranty:

The following cases are not covered by the guarantee or reimbursement:

  • the jewelry shows signs of mechanical damage;
  • storage and care conditions have been breached;
  • changes are due to the natural wear of the jewelry;
  • a piece of jewelry, such as an earring, pendant or other item, has been lost.

How will the return/exchange be processed?

Email [email protected] and attach a photo of your jewelry. You will be contacted to choose the day and method of exchanging your jewelry.

IV. Exchange and return

If the size of the piece of jewelry did not fit you, you did not like the color, you found a manufacturing defect, or for any other reason you wish to refuse the order or part of it, we accept returns. In accordance with Article 19 of the Law № 105 of 13-03-2003 on the Protection of Consumer Rights, as amended by ZP156 of 09.06.22, MO194-200/01.07.22, Art. 358; in force from 01.07.22: Exchange of a product of adequate quality

Replacement of product of appropriate quality

(1) The consumer has the right to ask the seller, within 14 days, in the commercial establishment from which it was purchased, to replace a non-food product of appropriate quality with a product similar to the one purchased, if this product does not suit him in shape, size, model, model, size, color or if he cannot use it as intended for other reasons, with, in case of price difference, the appropriate recalculation

(2) If the product necessary for replacement is missing, the consumer has the right to terminate the contract and the seller is obliged to refund the value of the product.

(3) The consumer’s request for the replacement of the product or the refund of its value shall be enforced if the product is unused, has not lost its consumer qualities and if there is evidence that it was purchased from the seller.

The product can only be returned under the following conditions:

1. The product has not been used
2. The product has not lost its marketability or consumer properties: no signs of wear, the label is intact and attached to the article, the packaging is not damaged
3. No more than 30 calendar days after purchase

V. Gift certificates

When you purchase a gift certificate, you are not eligible for a discount that is currently valid in-house (discount cards, seasonal discounts, special offers). The voucher must be used in its entirety in a single purchase. The certificate is only valid with the voucher attached.

VI. Birthday coupon codes

The birthday coupon code is automatically generated and sent to your email address only if all 3 conditions are met:

  1.  You have a personal profile on the JouJou website;
  2.  You have correctly filled in and saved your date of birth and e-mail address in the ‘Personal data’ section of your profile;
  3.  You filled in and saved your date of birth and e-mail address at least 10 days before your birthday.

If at least one of the rules is not followed, the coupon code will not be generated and will not be sent to the e-mail address. Make sure you receive an email in all email categories, including spam.

Birthday coupon code gives you a -15% discount on a one-time purchase online or in-store. The coupon code is sent to the e-mail address in your profile and is only valid for 14 calendar days from the date you receive the e-mail. For online purchases, write or copy the coupon code from the e-mail and enter it in the “Coupon Code” field in the shopping cart before checkout. You must enter the promo code in full (from the first letter to the last digit). For offline purchases, show the e-mail you received to your advisors and wait for them to check the validity of the coupon code. The use of your personal data follows the rules set out in the Privacy Policy and the Use of Cookies page.
